Why i've been away and why i think i joined Devart
LonelyThats how long i've been away.
I'm sorry that i left. I can explain only if you understand why i joined deviant art in the first place.
Almost exactly 1 year from today, one of my best friends left. She left because she had to and because people disliked her at the time. Well, a group of us didn't. She was the quirkiest, funniest, wittiest, and most interesting person i had ever met in my life. I missed her a LOT (seriously.. you have no idea how much). I joined deviant art because she told me to. Because she had an account there.
Pretty soon, deviant art became an outlet for me. It became a way for me to try to stop feeling the way i did. That summer, i had gone into depression and deviant art was the only thing that kept me from sinking into extreme unhappiness. Deviantart was a way for me to make friends without having to meet people in real life. I had always had trouble making friends. This was my way out.
To all of you. All of my friends on deviant art; I have to say thank you. Thank you for being a friend when i've most needed it. I love you all for that.
Soon after summmer, i began to realise that i was taking the easy way out. I was giving up dealing with my own problems because i prefered the virtual world offered by the internet. And i also realised that i would have to leave this virtual world and confront what i had ignored.
Im sorry. Im sorry i left. Im sorry for everything ive done and i wish that i hadn't used everyone this way. Please dont be angry. Please understand how much pain i was going through.
Its been a year. The only reason im doing this now is because of the guilt i feel. Because it had started to affect my dreams. I dreamt last night about her and about everything i've done so far. Why haven't i stopeed missing her yet? I dont know the answer to that question. All i know is that i miss her as much as the day she left...
I love you all and im sorry about all of this.
Will this be the last post from me? I dont know. It hurts to come back here because she's here too. Ill try to check messages and be online but i dont know...
P.S. I hope someone reads this because i poured my soul into it.
